Knitting 101 (The Knit Stitch) - Ready
to get started? A scarf is an ideal first
project! Start creating those fabulous scarves that
are so much fun to make. You will learn the knitted
cast on technique, the basic knit stitch, & binding
off. This class is a 1 1/2 hour session. Class fee

Knitting 102 (The Purl Stitch) - Learn to create texture by understanding the construction
of knits and purls. You will also learn purling,
ribbing, increasing, decreasing, make one, yarn
over, unknitting, & remounting stitches. This
class is a 1 1/2 hour session. Class fee $25

Knitting 103 (Three’s A Charm) - Once you’ve mastered the basic knit & purl
stitches, this class will cover how to read a pattern,
how to read a yarn label, & yarn substitutions.
We will also discuss the importance of gauge, how
to measure accurately for gauge, & how to calculate
the difference in finished size based on a different
knitting gauge. After this class you’ll be all
set to begin that first big knitting project! Class

Crochet 101 - Learn the basic crochet stitches that form the
foundation for all your crochet projects - single
crochet, double crochet, & chain. Class fee

Crochet 102 - Learn to read crochet patterns and create some
wonderful projects. Class fee $35

Crochet Motif - Learn how to make a small motif that can be used as a coaster. While making this coaster you will learn to work in the round, work chains, single and double crochet, and how to join rounds with a slip stitch. After you complete your project you can leave it as is or it can be felted to add another neat touch.This is a two session class. Class fee $40

A Simple Cardigan Sweater - Learn step by step how to knit a cute cardigan sweater.
Skill Requirements: knit, purl, rib, & bind-off.
You will learn basic sweater construction: including
how to pick up stitches, set in sleeves, invisible
seaming, yarn overs, & other finishing techniques.
This is a five session class with homework. Each
session is 1 hour long. Class fee $75

Feather And Fan Shawl - This easy lace pattern is great for newer knitters
who want to create that spectacular lacy silk shawl.
Skill Requirements: knit & purl. Knit 2 together
as well as yarn over will be covered. This is a
three session class with homework. Each session
is 1 hour long. Class fee $55

Sock Knitting - Sock knitting is the oldest form of knitting. They
are quick, easy, compact, and a fantastic portable
project. Beware though - sock knitting is addictive!
Basic sock constrution will be taught as well as
tips & tricks. Skill requirements: knit, purl,
& ribbing. You can work on either circular or
double pointed needles depending on your preference.
This is a 3 session class with homework. Class meets
every Saturday 10:30-12:00, Sunday 2:00-3:30, and
weekdays by appointment. Class fee $55

Felting - Knit a felted purse. This is perfect for new knitters!
You will learn how to knit in the round, pick up
stitches, make an I-Cord, & of course how to
felt! This is a 3 session class with homework. Class
meets every Saturday 12:30-2:00 by appointment.

• Knitting with Beads - Learn to Knit with beads and embelish all of those beautiful garments. You create a fun evening bag that makes a great present for anyone! This is a one session class. Each session is 1 1/2 hours long. Class fee $25

Crochet Project Bag - Learn a sampler of basic crochet stitches all while making a great bag that can be used for carrying projects. You will learn how to work back and forth in rows, change colors, use single, half double, and double crochet. You will also learn basic construction using slip stitches for both seaming and as a decorative touch. This is a
two session class. Class fee $40

Entrelac - Learn this intriguing and beautifully textured style
of knitting. It’s not as hard as it looks. Make
a scarf or incorporate entrelac into any knitted
project. This technique is spectacular! This is
a 1 session class. The class is 1 1/2 hours and
is offered on Sundays 2:00-3:30 and weekdays 2:00-3:30
by appointment. Class fee $35

Brea Bag - Learn to knit this beautiful crescent shaped bag.
The four cabled segments combine and together resemble
a lotus flower. Skill Requirements: cast on, knit,
purl, and bind off. Made with 3 skeins of Ultra
Alpaca yarn & size 9 knitting needles. This
is a 2 session class with homework. Class meets
1:00-3:00. Class fee $50

Charlotte’s Web Shawl - Create this beautiful heirloom shawl you’ll have
a lifetime! Skill Requirements: cast on, knit, crochet,
& some experience reading patterns and / or
charts. This is a 3 session class with homework.
Each class is 2 hours. Class fee $60

Broomstick Lace - Create a beautiful washcloth while learning this up and coming technique used in a lot of new crochet designs. You will also learn tips and tricks to make your own items using this fantastic method. This is
